Shipping
How will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped by PostNL or DHL, depending on which company offers the best rates for your country.
Your order will be packed with care to ensure safe delivery. We will strive to use as much recycled protective filling material as possible. The hard foam chips are made from recycled material, the soft, open structured ones are made from corn starch and are bio-degradable.
You may also find blue or yellow foam strips, these fall under general waste and can be disposed of with your household waste.
Due to individual country custom requirements we unfortunately do not deliver to the following destinations: Andorra, Canary Islands, Greenland, Gibraltar, San Marino, USA, Canada and Vatican City State. We also do not ship to Germany because of the German Packaging Act and the costs it would entail. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
For European shipments outside the EU, the customs declarations documentation is free, but you may be required to pay a customs fee / (import) tax / VAT in the destination country upon receipt of your package, depending on the rules that apply in your country. You pay no VAT when your order leaves the EU, so you may be required to pay VAT and/or import taxes in your own country. Any fees/taxes incurred in that way are NOT included in the shipping costs.
Shipping to the UK is only possible when your order excluding VAT totals over 140 GBP, due to UK VAT regulations.
When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped on the day we receive your payment, or the next workday. This depends on the chosen shipping option and the destination.
PostNL and DHL shipments go out at the end of the day.
Can you ship my order to a p.o. box?
Only when you choose PostNL and delivery is to a p.o. box in the Netherlands. Not available when using Billink post-pay.
Can you ship my order to a different address?
Yes, that's possible. You can choose to have your order delivered to different addres (e.g. your work address) if your order is shipped with PostNL or DHL. We do not, however, deliver to holiday adresses/ holiday parks, due to the major risk of something going wrong. Shipping to another address is also not available when using Billink post-pay.

How can I track my order?
Just before your order will be shipped you will receive the final order status e-mail with a tracking link for your shipment. You can also find it in your account.
What if I can't track my shipment?
Typically, you will receive the final order status e-mail before your shipping has been handed over to the shippng company, so it may take anywhere up to a couple of hours before you are able to succesfully track it.
We can also track shipments from our accounts, so don't hesitate to ask if you are unable to track the shipment yourself.

What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated by the store script. When you view your shopping cart in full screen mode (as opposed to the mini cart in the top right corner), you can get an estimate of the shipping costs before entering the check out procedure. The new shipping module calculates shipping rates based on weight, destination and price, and sometimes quantity as well.
Free shipping is available for shipments within the Netherlands for orders over 60 euros.
Due to individual country customs requirements, we unfortunately do not deliver to the following destinations: Andorra, Canary Islands, Greenland, Gibraltar, San Marino, USA, Canada and Vatican City State. We also do not ship to Germany because of the German Packaging Act and the costs it would entail. Shipping to the UK on request only, and only for orders over 135 Pound Sterling. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

New as of July 1st 2022: If a shipment is refused or not collected at the service point it was sent to, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. For the Netherlands this is 5,99 (per box, if the shipment contains multiple boxes), for other countries this will be the rate specified by our shipping provider.
For registered packages within the Netherlands there is an extra charge of € 1,50.

We only ship to the United Kingdom on request, and only if the total value of the items ordered is above 135 pounds excluding VAT. This has to do with the VAT registration rules for the UK which would require us to have a UK bank account and declare VAT in the UK for orders under that amount.
