Diversity helps you broaden your view and start to look at people with less prejudice. This essence helps you to let go of (unconscious) prejudices. Everyone is different, but we all have the same intrinsic value as human beings.

This works in multiple ways, because it will also help you look at yourself from this perspective. Some of us totally get that no one is of less value than we are, but instead need to learn that no one is of more value than us either.
